Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos

The majority of robot vacuum-mop combinations can be customised using an app that can save your home's maps, set cleaning schedules and choose mopping modes. You can also alter the suction power, and how much water your mop consumes.

A mapping function helps your robot vacuum that mops navigate around rooms. A feature to avoid obstacles helps it avoid running over furniture, wires or even stray toys. These are essential features for my house, stuffed with toys that are scattered about.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the top-of-the-line vacuum and mop, comes packed with features. It's able to both mop and sweep in one session and can raise its brushes and mop pads to stop soft surfaces from becoming damp. It can also avoid obstacles by looking for pet toys, plants and other small objects.

The maximum suction power is 6 000 pascals. This is the highest power of any other robot vacuum we've tested to date. It also has PreciSense LiDAR navigation, which tracks its position, preventing it from getting stuck on objects.

The S8 Pro Ultra's mopping capabilities are also impressive. It can continuously apply pressure to the pad of over 6 Newtons for a thorough clean. It also comes with an automatic mop lifting system that will raise the pad when it transitions from laminate to tile or hardwood to carpets and rugs to prevent soaking these types of soft surfaces.

The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self-drying capabilities. The pad is capable of rinsing and drying in the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty before returning to the dock. This means that you can set it and forget it, and only need to replace the dust bag or refill the water tank on occasion.

All of this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. I tested it with its normal mop and vac settings for around 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to run low on power and return to its base to recharge. This is within the range of the 180-minute time that Roborock claims and is comparable with other hybrids I've tried.

This is a very robust and well-rounded product with the only downside being that it's costly. The number of features makes it a very attractive option for anyone who is looking to replace their old mops and stick vacuums. If you can afford the price we recommend you check this one out.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a high-end robot vacuum and mop combo. The premium price is justified by the powerful features, which include a massive vacuuming capability, as well as two mop heads that rotate. It also comes with an app-based, smart controller and a powerful obstacle avoidance system.

The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 euros, which is among the highest robotic vacuum and mop combos available. In my testing it was able to perform well in all areas of the house, removing 98.4 percent of debris from all types of floors and able to lift long hair with no getting caught in. The mops were also great in delivering outstanding cleaning results with less effort than most mid-range models, thanks to their rotational motion and a strong dose of cleaning solution.

However, the L10S Ultra's most significant highlight is its docking station that is multi-functional. The docking station emptys the dustbin into a bag to collect dirt, refills the water tank to use for mopping and even dries mop pads. It is equipped with a real-time danger detection system, and its intelligent controls allow you to schedule regular cleaning sessions.

The L10S Ultra does not offer better performance for removing carpet debris in comparison to the other hybrid vacuum mop I tested. In addition the mops aren't efficient in removing staining that is as strong as those in the top Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra's premium features it still requires regular maintenance. The base station must be cleaned as well as the water tank and dust bag must be emptied, cleaned and dried on a regular basis to avoid mildew and unpleasant odors. It is also important to keep in mind that the mop pads, which are purchased separately, are required to be replaced periodically too.

I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the budget. If you're on a budget I would suggest a less basic model that lets you to save money and enjoy hands-free cleaning at your home. Even it were the case that the L10S Ultra was the best robotic mop and vacuum combination you could purchase, its high price and ongoing maintenance will make it seem more an option than a necessity.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

If you're in search of a robot vacuum cleaner mop and vacuum that will clean up dust and dirt on your hard floors, while taking care of wet mess, then take a look at the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful robovac/mop combo has a powerful suction power of 8,000 Pa. It also boasts a large battery capacity that can be used for both mopping and vacuuming. And it is equipped with a top-quality obstacle-avoidance technology. It has a roller-mop that cleans itself which makes it stand out from other models that require you to return to the base station to wash the mop pad.

The S1 Pro has a unique mopping mechanism that is different from the spinning discs and microfibre pads that are found on other robots. The roller covers the entire width of the robot, and it gets a constant supply of clean Ozonated, filtered water from the dock. The roller scrubs the floor while taking in dirt. Any dry debris is swept away with the side brushes or swept up into the front collision bumper. The S1 Pro is able to dump dirty mop water into its base station, where it is sucked in by the heater elements of the tank and emptied into a larger storage container. The onboard tank holds plenty of water and can handle a half dozen mopping sessions before running dry.

Like many robotic vacuums and mop sets, the S1 Pro is ready to roll out of the box. The S1 Pro does need to be refilled with clean water. This is easily done in the cleaning dock. If you want to use your own cleaner, you can add cleaning solution to the dock. If you choose this feature, however, you will be required to purchase the Eufy brand cleaning solution, which is more costly than other robot vacuum that mops brands allowing you to use your choice of cleaning products.

As with most robots like it, the S1 Pro did well in accuracy in navigation and coverage tests. It was quick to map a room and it easily navigated around furniture. It was stuck on carpets with longer piles several times during my tests. However it could be improved by re-updating the software. The S1 Pro is a very capable all-in-one robot for affordable prices.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's entry-level mop and vacuum, but it has some outstanding features. The multi-function dock emptys the robot's dirtbag and replenishes its water tanks, as well as washing and sanitizing mop pads as it moves. The mopping system is able to clean a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum's suction power is great for picking up pet hair and debris on carpets.

The app that runs this appliance is complex, with a broad variety of options to personalize the cleaning process. You can manually clean all areas that this device maps or choose individual rooms, an expandable zone or a custom routine you've designed. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It utilizes the sensors on the mops to map the area and determine the most efficient method to clean it.

The Qrevo did well in our tests, like all the Roborock models that we've test. Its navigation system is efficient, mapping rooms quickly and cleaning in a neat manner. The default pathing setting does an excellent job of covering a room, leaving no major gaps or missed areas. Reactive Tech's hazard avoidance works well too, but it's not as sophisticated as color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect dangers such as thick carpets but may not be able to detect smaller objects such as electrical wires and rug tassels.

The one glaring flaw of this machine is the lack of a mop after vacuum option, which could be a problem for people who are frequently vacuuming before cleaning with their robot. There's a simple solution: The app offers an option that lets you "clean up", at the end of each vacuuming session. The vacuum's mopping functions to remove the last traces and dust that remained after vacuuming. This is a nice feature that lets this vacuum keep its cleanness a bit higher than its less expensive competitors.
