If you have a wide range of flooring options in your home and don't want to invest extra money on a Roborock that has advanced mapping capabilities it is an excellent option.

This robot is a great option if you are seeking a flexible robot that can handle regular maintenance and touch-ups to messy water stains. It comes with a variety of features such as a self-emptying dustbin and a separate dock for refilling water, as well as customizable settings via the app. It's surprisingly quiet and can maneuver between furniture legs and socks with ease. It can't pick the tangled tassels of a rug, and its battery drains quicker than other models we tested.

It's smaller than many of its rivals however it doesn't sacrifice features. It has a good amount of suction power and it's possible to take a picture of any object it picks up (i.e. chew toys, socks) and mark them as 'not found in the app to ensure that they don't get taken up in subsequent cleanings. Its photos are encrypted and are not linked to your account.

It's great at vacuuming, but not as well at mopping. It makes use of disposable wipes that are clipped onto the bot's bottom and drags them across your floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal that have water reservoirs and automatically wash and reattach their mopheads.
