WoW Upgrades - The item upgrade Upgrader

Upgrades will give you a boost to certain stats. Each upgrade boosts the item level by +3. A random extra substat is also increased with each upgrade.

Upgraded gear is generally more valuable, unless the item level upgrade is not required by nature (like FB sorc shields) or has a large variance in stats (like eth Titan weapons). The latter see less value from upgrading due to the need to roll to get a perfect version.

The item upgrader allows players to upgrade items their gear by giving the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any type of armor or weapon. However, the item used to upgrade will remain in use for a long time and will not be able to be used again. Upgrades can be used to create the enchantments.
