best robot vacuum Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos

Most robot vacuum-mop combos can be customized with a specialized app to save your home's maps, set cleaning schedules and choose mopping modes. They also allow you to alter suction power and fine tune the amount of water and the scrubbing action of your mop.

A mapping function will help your robot navigate through rooms. A feature to avoid obstacles will stop it from running into furniture, wires, or stray toys. These features are vital in my home filled with toys.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the company's flagship mop and automatic vacuum and mop robot, which is why it's a natural choice to be with features. It can mop and sweep simultaneously, and can even lift its brushes or mop pads to ensure that soft surfaces don't get too wet. It can also avoid obstacles by looking for pet toys, plants, and other small objects.

The maximum suction power is 6 000 pascals. This is more than any other robot vacuum we've tested so far. It also has PreciSense LiDAR navigation that tracks its location, which prevents it from getting stuck on objects.

The S8 Pro Ultra's mopping capabilities are also impressive. It can continuously apply pressure to the pad that is over 6 Newtons to give a thorough clean. It also has an automatic vacuum and mop robot mop lifting mechanism, which lifts the pad when it transitions from laminate to tile hardwood, carpets and rugs to prevent the possibility of soaking these soft surfaces.

Additionally it is also the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying functions. The pad is capable of rinsing and heat-drying within the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty and return to the dock. You can set it to forget about it. You only need to replenish the water tank or replace the dust bag occasionally.

All of this is powered by a lithium-ion battery of 5,200mAh. I used it on its normal mop and vac settings for approximately 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to be power-deficient and return to its base to recharge. This isn't too far from the 180-minute time that Roborock claims and is at par other hybrids I've tested.

This is a very robust and well-rounded product with the only downside being that it's expensive. The number of features make it a great choice for anyone looking to replace their old mops and stick vacuums. We highly recommend this vacuum if you can justify the cost.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a premium robot vacuum and mop combo. Its high-end price is justified by its impressive feature set, which includes an impressive vacuuming capacity as well as two gyrating mop mops. It also includes a smart, app-enabled controller and a mighty obstacle avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop sets available, at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my tests, it was able to perform well in all areas of the home, taking out 98.4% of debris on all floor types and managing to lift hair that is long without getting caught in. The mops were also excellent and produced excellent cleaning results with less effort than most mid-range models, thanks to their rotational motion and a strong dose of cleaning solution.

The L10S Ultra's real selling point is its advanced multi-functional docking station. The dock empties its dustbin into dirt bag, then refills its water tank to enable mopping, and dry its mop pads for you. It also features an in-real-time system for detecting hazards and lets you schedule periodic cleaning sessions via its smart controls.

In contrast to the other hybrid vacuum mops that I test and compared, the L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced debris pickup performance on carpets. The mops in the L10S Ultra are not as effective in removing stubborn staining as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra's many premium features, it requires regular maintenance and care. Its base station needs to be emptied and the water tank and dust bag should be cleaned, empty and dried on a regular basis to avoid unpleasant odors and mildew. The mop pads that are sold separately will also need to be changed periodically.

I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the budget. For those who are on a tighter budget, I suggest a less basic model that allows you to save money while still enjoying clean hands at home. Even even if the L10S Ultra was the best robot mop (why not find out more) and vacuum you could buy, its high price and ongoing maintenance would make it more a want than need.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

If you're looking for a robotic cleaner and mop mop and vacuum that will remove dust and dirt on your floors while taking care of wet messes, then look no further than the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful robovac/mop combo has a powerful 8,000 Pa suction power. It also has an enormous battery capacity that can be used for vacuuming as well as mowing. It is also equipped with an excellent obstacle-avoidance system. It even comes with mop rollers that clean itself as it moves and makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that have to return to their base station mid-clean to rinse off the mop pad.

The S1 Pro has a unique mopping system that is distinct from the spinning discs and microfibre pads found in other robots. Its roller runs almost the entire width of the robot and is constantly filled with ozonated, clean water from its dock. When it turns, the roller scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt, and any dry debris is removed by the side brushes, or swept into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro then discharges the mop water that is dirty into its base station where it is sucked up by the tank's heating elements, and then pumped into a larger storage container. The tank that is onboard holds a decent amount of water, and it can manage about a dozen mopping sessions before going dry.

The S1 Pro comes ready to use straight out of the box as do other robotic vacuums and mops. It does need to be filled with clean water, but this is a simple task by cleaning the dock. If you want to use your own cleaner, you can add cleaning solution to the dock. If you do opt for this feature you'll have to purchase the branded cleaning solution from Eufy which is more expensive than other robot brands that permit users to use their own cleaner of choice.

As with most robots, the S1 Pro did well in the area of coverage and navigation efficiency. It was quick to map the area and moved around furniture. It got stuck on carpets with thick piles a few times during my tests. However it could be improved by updating the software. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that provides a lot of functionality at affordable prices.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock’s entry-level mop and vacuum, but it still has some outstanding features. Its multifunction dock empties the robot's dirtbag, and refills its water tanks, as well as washing and sanitizing mop pads as they go. The mopping system is capable of cleaning a good bit of an area before it needs to return to its dock and the vacuum's high suction does a nice job of removing debris and pet hair that accumulates on carpets.

The software that runs the appliance is quite extensive, and provides many options to customize the cleaning process. You can clean manually every area that is mapped by this device or select specific rooms, zones that can be expanded, or a routine you've developed. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It uses the sensors on the mops to map out the space and determine the most efficient way to clean it.

Like all Roborock models we've examined The Qrevo does well in our tests. Its navigation system is robust that can quickly map rooms and cleaning them in an organized fashion. The 'Normal' setting for pathing does a great job of covering a room, leaving no major gaps or missing areas. Reactive Tech's hazard avoidance function works well, however it is not as advanced as the color camera systems found on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can spot dangers like thick carpets, but it may not always detect small things like rug tassels, or electrical wires.

The machine has a major flaw: it does not offer a mop after vacuuming. This could be a problem for people who regularly vacuum before using their robot. There's a simple solution to this issue: the app offers a feature that allows you to "clean up", at the end of every vacuuming session. The vacuum's mopping capabilities to remove the dust and dirt that remained after vacuuming. It's a nice feature, and it helps this robot make its clean better than its cheaper rivals.
