best robotic mop and vacuum (read) Combos

The majority of robot vacuum and mop combinations can be customized with an application designed specifically for the purpose. You can save your home's maps, organize cleaning schedules, and choose mopping modes. They also let you change suction power and fine tune the amount of water and scrubbing action your mop uses.

A mapping feature aids your robot navigate rooms, while an obstacle avoidance function will stop it from hitting wires, furniture, or even stray pet toys. These are essential features for my home, which is filled with strewn-about toys.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the top-of-the-line vacuum and mop, comes packed with features. It can mop and sweep in one session and can raise its brushes and mop pads to prevent soft surfaces from getting too wet. It can also avoid obstacles by looking for pets, plants, and other small objects.

The maximum suction power is 6,000 pascals. This is the highest power of any other robot vacuum we've test to date. It also comes with PreciSense LiDAR Navigation that tracks its location, preventing it from becoming stuck on objects.

Mopping capabilities are also impressive and features the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply a constant pressure of more than 6 Newtons to the mop pad, resulting in a deep clean. It also has an automatic hoover mop lifting system, that will raise the pad when it goes from tile to laminate, hardwood to carpet and rugs, thereby avoiding the possibility of soaking these soft surfaces.

The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing, and self-drying features. The pad can be rinsing and drying in the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty before returning to the dock. This means that you can put it away and forget about it, only needing to change the dust bag or refill the water tank on occasion.

All of this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. I tested it with its normal mop and vac settings for approximately 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to run low on power and return to its base to recharge. This isn't too far from the 180 minutes Roborock claims and is on the same level as other hybrids I've tried.

It's a well-rounded, capable product. The only issue is that it's expensive. However, its sheer abundance of features makes it a tempting choice for anyone looking to get rid of their old stick vacuum and mop. If you are able to justify the cost we strongly recommend checking this one out.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a high-end combination. The premium price is justified by its robust features, which include a massive vacuuming capacity and two mop heads that rotate. It comes with an app-enabled smart control system and powerful obstacle-avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 Euros, which is one of the highest robotic vacuum and mop combinations available. In my testing it did well in all areas of the house, removing 98.4 percent of the debris on all types of floors and able to lift long hair without knots. The mops were also great, achieving great cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models, thanks to their rotational motion as well as a strong dose of cleaning solution.

The L10S Ultra's real selling point is its advanced multifunctional docking station. The docking station emptys the trash bin into a bag to collect dirt, then refills the water tank for mopping and even dries mop pads. It features a real-time risk detection system, and its sophisticated controls let you schedule regular cleaning sessions.

Contrary to the other hybrid mops I tested The L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced debris removal on carpets. The mops of the L10S Ultra aren't as effective in removing tough staining as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra's numerous premium features, it requires regular care and maintenance. Its base station needs to be cleaned out and the water tank and dust bag should be cleaned, emptied and dried on a regular basis to avoid unpleasant odors and mildew. The mop pads sold separately will also require changing regularly.

Given the L10S Ultra's premium price tag and extensive functionality, I would recommend it to anyone with the budget for it. For those who are on a tighter budget, I suggest considering an easier model that allows you to save money while still enjoying clean hands at home. It's worth noting that even if the L10S Ultra is the best robotic vacuum and mop combination you can buy but its high price and ongoing maintenance will eventually make it more of a want rather than a requirement.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

If you're looking for a robot vacuum and mop that will remove dust and dirt on your hard floors, while taking care of wet mess then you should look no further than the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful mop and robot vacuum combo comes with a strong suction force of 8,000 Pa and a huge battery capacity for both vacuuming and mowing and a top-of-the-line obstacle-avoiding. It even has a roller mop that cleans itself as it goes, which makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that have to return to their base station mid-clean to rinse off the mop's pad.

The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a major departure from the microfibre pads and spinning discs that other robots. The roller is nearly the entire width of the robot, and it gets a constant supply of fresh water that is filtered and ozonated from the dock. While it spins the roller, it scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt, and any dry debris is picked up by the side brushes or swept into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro then discharges the mop water that is dirty into its base station, which is then sucked up by the tank's heating elements before being dumped into a larger storage canister. The tank onboard can hold a substantial amount of water and can handle up to half a dozen mopping sessions before rushing out.

Like most robotic vacuums and mop combos like the S1 Pro is ready to roll out from the box. The S1 Pro needs to be refilled with clean water. This can be accomplished in the cleaning dock. If you'd like to use your own cleaner you can add a cleaning solution to the dock. If you choose this feature however, you'll be required to purchase the Eufy brand cleaning solution that is more expensive than other robot brands allowing you to use your choice of cleaning products.

The S1 Pro performed well in the coverage and efficiency of navigation tests, as did most robots. It was quick to map a room and it easily navigated around furniture. It sat on carpets with thick piles a couple of times during my tests. However this could be improved by updating the software. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that offers a lot of functionality at a reasonable cost.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's cheapest mop and vacuum, but it still offers some impressive features. The dock's multifunction allows emptying the robot cleaner with mop's dirtbag and refilling its water tanks and cleaning and sanitizing the mop pads is performed by the dock. The mopping system can sweep a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum's extreme suction is perfect for picking up pet hair and other debris from carpets.

The software that runs the appliance is quite dense, and offers many options to customize the cleaning process. You can manually initiate an entire map and take care to clean everything that is mapped by the device, or you can choose individual rooms, expandable zones, or even a schedule you've created. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It utilizes the sensors on the mops to map out the area and determine the most efficient method to clean it.

Like all Roborock models we've tested The Qrevo does well in our tests. Its navigation system performs well, mapping rooms quickly and cleaning them in a well-organized way. Its 'Normal' pathing setting does an excellent job of covering a space, with no major gaps or missed areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system is also quite effective, though it's not as advanced as the color camera system on the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can spot dangers like thick carpets but it might not always be able to detect smaller items such as rug tassels or electrical wires.

The machine has a major issue: it doesn't have a mop option after vacuuming. This could be a problem for those who vacuum frequently prior to using their robot. Fortunately, there's a simple solution: the app offers the option to "clean up" at the end of each session. You can use the mopping features of the vacuum to get rid of the last traces and dust that remained after vacuuming. It's a nice addition and can help the robot to make its clean better than its cheaper rivals.
