The Roomie Glide, unlike some other cribs for beds, is compatible with most beds including divans. This is because of the straps and clips that connect to it. It can also be used as a standalone crib if it is not attached to the bed. It's packed with amazing features that are designed with parent-baby bonding in mind.

The most important thing to keep in mind is that while this crib is ideal for newborns, it won't last long once your child is six months old, so you'll need to invest in larger cots. Overall, Roanna thought that the Joie Roomie Glide crib was an excellent buy. She loved its sleek design.

The Tutti Bambini CoZee

The Tutti Bambini CoZee is an award-winning bedside crib that was designed to ensure a peaceful night's sleep in mind. It has a drop-side rail that is easily removed for feedings at night without having to wake your child or get up It's perfect for mothers who are breastfeeding! It's also light, making it easy to move around the house during naps and when traveling.

We love that it's constructed of soft materials that have mesh sides that are breathable, which promote airflow and comfort. It comes in charcoal or oak and a range of melange fabrics that will blend with all styles of decor. Anna found it sturdy and secure when affixed to her bed, with the legs securely clicking into the frame and the zips securely secured to ensure baby safety. It took her around 10 minutes to assemble and didn't require tools, with clear instructions and a video as well as a customer support number if you run into any problems.

As well as the usual features you'd expect from a crib that is bedside, like being able to connect to your existing bed using a stay-in-place connector system and six levels of height, the CoZee has an additional incline option which can be used to aid congestion or reflux in infants. It is also machine-washable - a must for all the dribbles, vomit, and snot that come with a newborn baby!

If you're looking to keep your baby close during the first six months as they're able to go to sleep on their own The CoZee is a fantastic option because it can be used as a stand-alone crib, changing table and toddler bed. This is one of Chicco's more expensive models, but it comes with a lot of features. It can be used either a side-sleeper, or a standalone crib that is suitable for infants ranging from birth to six months. It has a new mechanism for opening and closing the side panel and is easy to operate, even for one-handed operation. It's also more adjustable than its predecessor, having 11 different height levels as well as retractable feet for a secure place under any bed.

Our testers loved the ease of access provided by the side panel which can be moved upwards and down with one click of a button. This was especially helpful during nighttime feedings as they could reach inside and pick up their baby without disturbing them up.

The side panel can be lifted by itself, but it's not advised as it increases the chance of your child falling out of the cot. But, the patented safety locking mechanism ensures that it will only remain in place when it is attached to the bed properly. This is a wonderful feature to have in place for peace of mind, particularly when you're breastfeeding and need frequent nighttime feedings.

Telescopic legs permit the Chicco Next2Me Magic to be used with any bed, such as divan bases and beds with drawers. It has a tilting feature for babies with reflux, as well as the ability to rock to soothe them to sleep after a meal. It is also very spacious and has excellent ventilation due to its mesh sides.

Our testers found the Next2Me Magic easy to set up and use, however it comes with lengthy instructions. It's a bit heavier than other side-sleepers but it's still quite mobile and can be moved from room room with ease. The mesh side panels with dual-view and airflow mattress that is hypoallergenic and breathable maximize airflow and keep your baby cool and comfortable. The cot conversion kit (sold separately) is also well-designed, with clear directions and everything you need to begin. It took us around an hour to put together and was fairly straightforward.
